Berlin Comics Fellowship 2026

This year, the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion is awarding six eight-month working fellowships and one six-month residency fellowship at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.

The award winners will be featured in the scholarship exhibition organised by the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin and the Deutscher Comicverein e. V.: an inspiring showcase offering insights into the diverse world of Berlin’s comic art scene.

This year’s scholarship recipients are: Nino Bulling, Anita Erling, Yitong Feng, Bernard Hage, Lizz Lunney and Claire Paq. The 2026/27 residency scholarship in Paris goes to Leonie Ott.

Opening

On Saturday, 9 May 2026, at 12 noon, the scholarship recipients will be introduced during a panel discussion as part of Comic Invasion Berlin 2026:
